Supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo are dissing retired Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Rowena Guanzon for shaking hands with the son of presumptive president Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at a gathering of party-list lawmakers.
A photo shared by Lakas-CMD showed newly elected Ilocos Norte Rep. Sandro Marcos shaking Guanzon’s hand at a lunch meeting of the members of the Party-list Coalition Foundation Inc. (PCFI).
The meeting, which took place at Rockwell in Makati, was held to show support for the speakership bid of Marcos’ uncle, House Majority Leader Ferdinand Martin Romualdez.
The so-called “Kakampinks” disliked Guanzon’s graciousness in accepting Marcos’ handshake.
“Sana pala Kabataan PL na lang binoto kong partylist, I hate to see Guanzon talking and shaking hands to forces of evil and kleptocrat (I do mean Marcos-Romualdez et al.),” tweeted @azi_ether.
“Wag kami madam Rowena. Alam namin kung ano talaga ang papel mo s mga Marcos Family. My Trojan Horse [peace hand sign emoji] [grinning face emoji],” said @RollyNeth.
“Grabe tigas ng mukha mo Rowena Guanzon..mahiya ka sa mga Marcos. May saltik ka pa din sa paningin ko. #orocan #baitbaitan #buangzon,” tweeted @marcobites.
“Kung payagan mo ako na mag payo sayo Maam Guanzon,Ang maipapayo ko sayo huwag kang magpa bola, mag pauto sa mga marcos.Tuso sila. Huwag ka padala sa mga pagbati bati nila,” said @okeylang100.
“WHAT a weird and unusual group of partylist to be associated with as a guess is all I can say. I mean, the fuckin’ Marcos and Romualdez families are there! Binanardagul ang mga yan, di kinakamayan. Does anyone have an idea what this “Party List Fundation, Inc.” is all about? [thinking face emoji],” tweeted @ruminarist.
Guanzon openly endorsed the presidential bid of Robredo and supported the P3PWD party-list, which won one seat in the House of Representatives for the 19th Congress.
